What to expect:

- Build confidence
- Improve communication skills
- Gain personal insights
- Develop new and effective tools to deal with life’s challenges
- Manage stress and anger
- Overcome trauma
- Improve relationships

The focus of EAP is not on riding…or horsemanship. In fact approximately 90% of EAP takes place on the ground. EAP is an interactive, experiential, hands-on-approach where you and the therapist have an opportunity to see and reflect on how you interact with specific situations in your daily life. You are immediately able to see the effects of your actions by how the horse responds
to you.

EAP uses a team approach that includes a horse professional and therapist, client, and/or parents, and a horse. Whether EAP is used in group or individual therapy, you will be better able to look more deeply at the core issues behind your attitudes, beliefs, and behaviors. You’ll also learn that relationships take time, work, respect, and honesty. And another great benefit of EAP is that it
can be a lot of fun!
